Surface Preparation
The window must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt, debris, or contaminants. Use an ammonia-free window cleaning solution and a rubber squeegee to efficiently clean the glass, window trim, gaskets, seals, and rubber holdings. Even the smallest speck of dust can ruin the results. After washing, thoroughly dry the glass with a clean microfiber cloth.
Film Application
Use a spray bottle or rubber squeegee to apply a generous amount of application solution to the inside of the window. Pull off the protective layer from the tint film and spray the exposed adhesive with the solution. Carefully apply the adhesive side of the tint over the window, starting at the bottom edge and working upwards to avoid crinkles and bubbling. Use a squeegee to press the tint to the glass, starting from the middle and working outwards. Continue wetting the film while also working out any air bubbles and left-over application solution. Allow the tinted windows to dry for at least 48 hours before rolling them up or down, or washing the car.
